In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and freedom of movement of that data (General Data Protection Regulation), and Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Information Privacy and the guarantee of digital rights (BOE December 6, 2018), you are hereby informed of the following aspects:
The personal data collected on the form shall be included in an automated file (SGD) owned by ONCE, which domiciled for these purposes at ONCE, Dirección General, Calle Prado nº 24, 28014 Madrid.
ONCE’s processing of your data is required for the management of your request to participate in the events that are part of the WORLD BLINDNESS SUMMIT MADRID 2020 event.
If you should not consent to the processing of your data, the participation request may be processed, and this will prevent the management, undertaking of and compliance with the obligations arising from it.
ONCE has a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via e-mail: dpdatos@once.es and/or at the postal address Calle Prado, 24, 28014 Madrid.
The legal basis for data processing is found in the express and informed consent of the data owner.
For ONCE’s compliance with the legal obligations arising from the application submitted, the data (including, where appropriate, that related to your status as a person with a disability) and information containing sensitive personal data shall be processed with the appropriate security measures in order to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk relating to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
In order to be able to manage your complaint, the data may be transferred to the Bodies of the participating entities, UMC, ICEVI, and the Public Authority, that are competent to manage their respective functions and services; in appropriate cases, they may be assigned to Mapfre as the event insurer and Marriott as the owner of the private space in which it is being held, the financial entity hired to provide the payment gateway service for the participation fees and the service providers contracted to cover the needs of the event.
The event’s e-mail address will be used for all communication with the applicant and other parties involved in the request management process.
The data shall be kept for the duration of the processing and completion of application process and for the period stipulated by the regulations.
The owner may exercise their rights of access to the data and, where appropriate, rectification, deletion, limitation or opposition to the processing thereof, and the right to the portability of the data, as well as revoke their consent to the processing of their data, at any time.
These rights may be exercised through written request to ONCE to the postal address of Calle Prado nº 24, 28014 Madrid, or to the e-mail address dpdatos@once.es. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the legality of the processing based on the initial consent.
The complainant has the right, if he/she considers it appropriate, to submit a claim to the Supervisory Authority (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
